Overview

There are so many details that go into planning a vacation, so many things that have to be straightened out. There are flights to book, cars to rent, hotels to secure, and other information to book. However, many people seem to forget to purchase travel insurance. This is a huge oversight, particularly when so much can go wrong while you are traveling. Instead of being unprotected when something unforeseen takes place, it is better to be ahead of the game.

There are plenty of great trip insurance companies out there and VacationGuard is one of those companies. While they have not been around for a long time, they have begun to build up quite a reputation. VacationGuard values their customers and always strive to offer the best travel insurance plans.

  1. Good coverage for a good price (compared to other plans we checked out).

  2. They basically only offer one plan, so you better make sure it is what you need. Many other companies offer 3-5+ different plans to choose from.

  3. I purchased a vacation guard (vacationpro) plan and liked the price better than the plan offered by my travel agent. It was a good value and customer service answered my question. No claim submitted though.
